OES Asset Integrity Management presented at the Oil & Gas Trade Mission organised by the Ghana Petroleum Commission and Scottish Enterprise last week in Aberdeen.
The aim of the event was to introduce Ghana Oil & Gas Companies to the Scottish Oil & Gas chain and promote partnerships between the regions.
Cameron Douglas, Trade & Investment Executive at Scottish Development International said of OES’s involvement, “Attracting the record breaking Ghanaian delegation, our largest ever from Africa, to Scotland was a great achievement for all those involved. The presentation delivered by OES was very well received by those who attended, with strong engagement from the delegates and a clear desire to follow up after the session. The involvement of companies such as OES is a key part of any delegation programme, demonstrating the strength of the Scottish oil and gas supply chain. We were thrilled to have OES involved and hope to continue supporting their West African efforts going forward. It is great to see the progress they have made since attending our trade mission to Ghana and Nigeria earlier this year.”
George Byers, OES Regional Manager of Europe & Africa said, “It was a great opportunity to present to so many delegates visit Aberdeen from Ghana and very impressed by their enthusiasm to work with UK companies such as OES. Once again Scottish Enterprise went above and beyond their duty to bring this event together and give us exposure to other countries such as Ghana.”
